Nottingham City Council is an award winning public authority in transport delivery that has invested in significant transport development, and has delivered massive investment in large transport projects, including a tram network, station, integrated public transport and public realm improvements, utilising innovative funding mechanisms. These projects have had a transformational effect on the city, bringing change and stimulating economic growth and regeneration.
The Council has exciting ambitions to continue this investment, including further extensions to the tram system and a roadspace transformation programme as part of the major regeneration of the south of the City Centre.
The Council’s Major Projects Directorate has a strong track record in delivering a wide variety of building, transport and other infrastructure projects, and the Council is looking for experienced project managers to join the team to drive these transport projects forward.
If you have a history of successful project development and delivery, have a pro-active approach to problem solving, and a strong commercial outlook then we would be keen to hear from you.
We have opportunities for:
- Programme Managers - £46,608, rising to £48,512 on first year anniversary subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period. Potential for Market Supplement up to £7,352 subject to experience
- Senior Project Managers - £37,107, rising to £39,002 on first year anniversary subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period
